Your 15 Minutes of Fame Are Up

The older I get the more I realize that being yourself is the only thing that truly matters. There is no point or purpose in pretending to be someone else. As I get older, I realize that people don't care who you were in high school. Case in point, I was semi popular in highschool, but I surely wasn't the most popular, the prettiest, ore even the smartest. I was just your average girl. I guess I take comfort in the fact that I am still becoming myself and haven't hit my peak yet. I feel bad for the people who peaked in highschool and are now the has-beens with no future. Does that make me a bad person? Probably. Oh well.
