— Basketball games, Buckeye leaves on helmets, Big House collapse by Michigan.

— Coaches, Country music, Columbus: home of the Buckeyes.

— Dry erase boards that do not break, Dentists, Defense played by Ohio State.

E

— E-mail, Elastic on the waistband, Erasing the memory of the Illinois Game.

F

— Family, Five and one: coach Tressel’s record vs. Michigan.

G

— Gobble Gobble at Thanksgiving dinner, Grandma's pie, Going 11-1 in a season we were supposed to not be above .500

H

— Hughes, (Larry, of course, the new running mate of LeBron) Honesty, High Street in Columbus after Buckeye wins.

I

— Inspirational stories, Intense athletic competition, dotting the I during “Script Ohio.”

— Jump shots that go in, Jumper cables, Jim Tressel: Did I mention he’s 5-1 against Michigan?

— Kindness within people, Kickers who don’t choke, “Kids will be wearing No. 28 jerseys making moves in a pile of leaves this Thanksgiving,” Tressel said.
